Introducing Paris Undercurrent
After walking these streets for about 10 years now I thought it would be fun to share some of the things I have discovered. In a city like this it takes a wile before the visual impact of its iconic buildings and world famous views starts to tone down and the alternative gems emerge. I am going to start doing some photography and writing about the things I see, hear, eat and love. Maybe a few of them can spark an interest and maybe you will visit Paris one day and decide to check them out yourself. I will set no boundaries to this blog. If I feel like telling about the Eiffel tower, I will, and if I dig into a suburb then that will be whats on the menu that day.

Who are you and why do you think you can tech me about Paris?
I am Fredrik and I am not going to teach. I just walk around and see things. I am a Swede who has lived in many places and since 2014 I have been a permanent resident of central Paris. I do all kinds of usual and unusual things. I am a professional photographer since the late 1980s, I make Electronic music under the name Passer, I run a shop dedicated to Scandinavian vintage lighting, I build medieval style longbows, I am working on a book about bullfights, I play and renovate acoustic guitars, I have two dogs that take up much of my time, I design and bild the OGMA wood veneer lamps,
I am renovating an old stone house in Calvados, I used to run a street wear brand in Sweden, I have had my own bar and restaurant I Spain and I am an active skate boarder at the age of 58…
